Joanna Alfaro, Branch Manager

A Houston native, Joanna Alfaro has been a member of the Southeast Texas community since 2001. She joined Education First as a Member Service Representative in 2008. Joanna previously managed the Phelan Avenue and Laurel Street locations and is now the Branch Manager for the largest of our three Beaumont branches, located on Rosedale Drive.

With over 23 years of experience in financial and customer service, Joanna loves the opportunity to help coach and develop employees to further grow their success and professional journey at the credit union. As the mother of three children and Beaumont Independent School District Ambassador, she appreciates the credit union’s history of being founded by teachers and the continued support that it provides to local schools and students.

In her free time, you can find Joanna cheering on her kids at the local soccer and baseball fields or volunteering her time with the youth group at St. Jude Catholic Church.
